BREAKDOWN
For the Gabry Ponte – San Siro Dance 2025 event, our team handled the creation of the Notch visual effects and the 3D content projected onto the stage’s IMAG.
The work began with an in-depth analysis of the setlist, identifying key moments and defining, for each track, the color palettes, animation styles, and transition types best suited to create a consistent visual language for the entire show.
The three-dimensional elements were designed in high definition, modeling digital environments and objects optimized for large-scale IMAG display.
Particular attention was given to the setup of lighting and materials to ensure visibility and impact even from long distances, while the animations were designed to follow the timing and dynamics of each track.
Notch programming was used to generate real-time effects, synchronized with the live show’s timecode and reactive to the music’s frequency spectrum.
This allowed particle systems, distortions, morphing, and other generative effects to be directly integrated with the 3D content, maintaining creative flexibility right up to the final rehearsals.
During on-site testing, the content was calibrated in terms of brightness, contrast, and saturation to adapt to the lighting conditions and the technical specifications of the stadium’s IMAG.
The result was a continuous visual flow, evolving from track to track, perfectly synchronized with the music and documented in the videos from the evening, which capture the full scope of the work carried out.
The technical service for the IMAG system and live show support was provided by GTK1, whose infrastructure and expertise ensured seamless integration of all visual content into the stage production, maintaining high quality and reliability throughout the event.
